How to install (5 steps)

    Tap "Download APK"

    Hit the red button at the top of this page. The file MicroDrama.gd.apk saves to your phone's Downloads folder. About 5–10 MB.

    Open the file

    When the download finishes, tap the notification that appears, or open your Files app and tap the APK in Downloads.

    Allow installs from this source

    Android will say "For your security, your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source." Tap Settings, toggle Allow from this source ON, then tap back.

    This permission is per-app (Chrome, Files, etc.) — it doesn't let anything else install apps.

    Tap "Install"

    You'll see the install confirmation screen with the MicroDrama icon. Tap Install. Takes a few seconds.

    Open MicroDrama

    Tap Open, or find the new MicroDrama icon on your home screen. You're in — pick a drama and hit play.

Troubleshooting

Is this safe?
The APK is built and signed by us. It's a thin wrapper around microdrama.gd — same site, no extra tracking, no extra permissions beyond what a normal browser needs. We don't ship the app to the Play Store because Play forbids streaming indexers like this one — that's why sideload is the only route.
Chrome says "This type of file can harm your device"
That's Android's standard warning for any APK downloaded outside the Play Store — not a virus alert. Tap Download anyway (or Keep). The file is signed and matches what we publish here.
I can't find the downloaded file
Open the Files app (or Samsung's "My Files", or "File Manager" on other phones). Go to Internal storage › Download. The file is called MicroDrama.gd.apk. Tap it.
"Allow from this source" doesn't appear
The menu name varies by phone brand. Try this manual route: Settings › Apps › Special access › Install unknown apps (Pixel/stock Android) or Settings › Biometrics & security › Install unknown apps (Samsung). Pick your browser or Files app, toggle the permission ON, then re-tap the APK.
"App not installed" error
Usually means an older version is still installed. Uninstall any previous MicroDrama app from Settings › Apps, then re-tap the APK. If you're updating, you can also tap the APK directly — Android handles in-place updates.
